1. Introduction
Split-Flap Message Board (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. Split-Flap Message Board for tvOS does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data—period. This policy explains what that means in practice and covers both the tvOS app and its marketing website.

The app runs entirely on your Apple TV. All messages you create are saved locally on the device and never leave it unless you choose to share them via your own means (e.g., screenshots).
3. Third-Party Services
The app uses no analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or cloud back ends. The only network call initiated by the tvOS App Store itself is to validate your purchase; we do not see or store any of that information.
Our static marketing site is hosted on a third-party platform (e.g., GitHub Pages, Netlify, or Cloudflare Pages). The host may record standard web-server logs (IP address, user-agent) to maintain security and performance. We do not combine these logs with any other data or attempt to identify you.
4. Cookies & Tracking
The tvOS app sets no cookies and performs no tracking. The marketing site uses only essential, first-party cookies (if any) provided by the hosting platform to deliver pages efficiently. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar trackers.
5. Children’s Privacy
Split-Flap Message Board is rated 4+ and appropriate for all ages. Because we collect no personal data, the app is fully compliant with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.
6. Data Security
Although we do not handle personal data, we still follow industry-standard security practices (HTTPS for the website, code-signing for the app) to protect the integrity of the product you download.
7. Changes to This Policy
If future features require collecting or processing data, we will:
- Update this policy at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and
- Highlight the update inside the App Store “What’s New” notes and on the marketing site.
Your continued use of the app after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes acceptance.
